The casting of the movie is really nice for a French spectator with actors like André Dussolier (on the pic above, with the black sunglasses), Charles Berling ...

and, the 2 main actors of the movie : Vincent Cassel and his Italian wife, Monica Bellucci.

All plays "secret agents" as you might have guessed from the movie title, even if it is French

The story is inspired from the Rainbow Warrior Affair when French secret services had sink the boat of Greenpeace for reasons we have really known precisely.

Here we follow then agents who are doing their assignments. They have a non-ordinary life, full of excitement, technology, action ... but they realise they are only pawns on an international game.
Not knowing at all what is hidden behind them, they follow their orders. Or sometimes they even don't know others have taken decisions for them and they have to deal with complete new surprising situation.
One of the decision already taken for them can also be that they will never leave "the house" (the secret services)....

If there are some actions scenes. Most of the action is off screen. The director is known to always be very well documented but this time it is not really the main subject of the movie.
In this movie, the director try to make us see the "state of mind" of these secret agents who risk their life for "State reason".
I've found the movie unexpected and the treatment of the idea and I've enjoyed it.
It worth a seeing 3/6.
Not sure when you'll be able to see it though ...
