In this movie, Albert Dupontel plays Alexandre Demarre, a man just hirred in a cash transportation company named Vigilante.
The company is a 20 years old company which is near bankruptcy and about to be bought by american funds.
Every employees are nervous about their future. Their moral is even worse than expected as this year, three trucks have been robbed.
Each times, the robbers haven't left any witnesses...
At once Alexandre Demarre appears to be uncommunicative and the ways he acts is really strange. Quickly we wonder who he is : a cop ? a robber ? a spy from the american society which is about to take control over Vigilante ?
The spectator is not the only one to wonder about him and his presence also contributes to increase the existing tensions between his work mates.
The idea of the movie is really original and I've liked a lot the story who plays well with the spectator's intuition to drive him through different paths. I've found the suspens was indeed well kept even if I've found some digressions really unexpected and ... unwanted in fact. But it does not penalize the movie too much.
Another bad point would be the "detective TV movie" directing style
But this lach from the director, Nicolas Boukhrief, is hopefully a little bit hidden by the great actor performance of Albert Dupontel.
I've really liked the story but the direction forbides me to give this movie a better mark than 4/6.
If it might not deserve a visualisation in movie theater, you'll really spend a great moment if you rent it on video or dvd
